Key Stage 5
What courses can I choose from?
Students can choose from a range of over thirty Level 3 courses plus specific level 2 options in English and Maths. They will enrol in full time programme of study which will provide them with the skills and knowledge they require to make their next steps in higher education, apprenticeships or the world of work.
We offer a wide range of courses including A Levels and BTECs. The expectation is that students will study three full courses alongside an extension subjects such as Core Mathematics, Trinity Arts Award, Extended Project Qualification or the Duke of Edinburgh Award. Alongside these subjects students will also follow a core skills programme during learning mentor time.
Entry to Chosen Hill Sixth Form requires a minimum of five GCSE Grades at 9-5. In addition, many courses require specific grades; the preferred entry requirements are given in the full prospectus along with course specifications. Talking to subject teachers and current students will also help your decision-making.
