Whole School Student Council

Whole School Student Council met on Thursday 19 October to discuss the earlier work of the Year Councils that meet once very fortnight and to continue our agenda of putting our ‘WATCH’ values into action – also coincidentally a week in which assemblies have been all about the importance of British values like democracy.

We now have 32 student representatives from across the year groups, including the Sixth Form Student Leaders who coordinate all of the activities so effectively.

This time as well as the Headteacher attending we had our established local councillor, Mary Jordan from Churchdown Parish Council and also Ian Yates the current Tewkesbury Mayor. They took part in the whole meeting as well as helping us afterwards with a promotional film about local politics.
